I’ve launched a podcast – My Mum Made Me – about the wonderful and sometimes weird ways our mums make us who we are today.
It’s a weekly show where we explore the influence of mums with actors, activists, authors and athletes over the course of a light-hearted 30 minute conversation.
My mum, Teresa, took me on anti-poll tax demonstrations when I was younger, took us to Church every Sunday and to her girlfriend’s on Friday nights. She’s been a big influence on who I am, and the man I’ve become today.
The podcast is a love letter to her and to the influence mums have on us.
